It’s 1952, and reporter Roland Lu finds his hometown overcome by the scourge of McCarthyism. Animosity against Chinese-Americans is at a fever pitch in Millville, with Mayor Frank Dugan at the center. It all makes for a big story, and Roland just might betray his fellow Chinese-Americans to win laurels for his journalistic career.
