After surviving the Vietnam War as a child, Thavisouk Phrasavath moved to New York with his family. This documentary, shot over 23 years, follows his moving journey as an immigrant, their experiences adjusting to America, and the lingering ghosts of war. Veteran cinematographer Ellen Kuras (ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, SUMMER OF SAM) co-directs this emotional story with Thavisouk, who also narrates.
